What are you guys opinions on bits & bitless riding? (I recently switched and am just curious!)

We start all of ours in a sidepull, they learn to ride in a snaffle and a curb eventually for future proofing their education, but they all ride in a halter. Mules, donkeys, horses, we start them all the same way.

I avoid bits like the plague. I ride in a rope halter.
