Just finished playing through Void Crawler and wanted to post about it here, since it's a good little game and one that could very easily go under the radar. You play as someone piloting an underground vehicle to extract crystals from a mine deep in the Earth and, of course, before long things start to go wrong.
In terms of gameplay, the vehicle is moved in a similar style to the dungeon crawlers like Legend of Grimrock and there is some basic resource management for things like fuel and coolant as you go. The game has much more of a creepy, uneasy atmosphere, rather than flat out horror, but that's the kind of thing I prefer, so was very happy with that. I finished the game in a little under 2 hours but considering the game costs less than 4 quid, I'd say it was worth it. Anyone else played through it?
