From the first initial trailer to what it would become like myself I assume others had to change the expectations of what ro expect or it took people completely out of buying the game.
Picked it up and finished it in a weekend and thought overall it was a great story with elements of some body horror which took me by surprise.
The epilogue is where I would say the horror of the game and the events truly unfolds as it does tackle some delicate subject matter so trigger warning there but a great experience and something where I hope it continues to lead to more games as you can see the passion in creating the story and the game.
