Does anyone notice that it took them till the short groovy grandma to finally show Henry and his mother bond and even then it felt forced to me, Henry’s dad (silly Simon) has had numerous occasions with him like the go kart episode, the fishing trip episode, ‘horrid Henry tells the truth’ and the one where Henry genuinely writes to his dads boss to let him have breather for work, I genuinely think that Henry’s dad cares about him and hints have been shown through the show that while it’s not perfect the 2 genuinely care for one another, the same for Henry’s brother while the 2 are very opposite they grow closer as the show goes on, Henry genuinely put his life on the line for his brother, everyone in Henry’s life even Margret seems to care for him somewhat, his mum however barely shows him any empathy or sympathy and always blames him which is strange considering Ruby (Henry’s aunty) was clearly the Peter of the relationship between Henry’s mum and herself.
