Tremortusk weakness

Hey folks,
I don’t know how alone I am in this but I’ve been finding the machine weaknesses to be a touch unintuitive sometimes. And then I faced the Tremortusk in the tundra…. It’s weakness is frost but it lives in the tundra.
Does anyone else find this odd or have any insight to help me oversee this? The zoologist in me is struggling.
