Are there any story parts that both games haven't yet touched on yet?

For me I think one story part I really would like to see in the next game is Elysium, or at the very least what happened to it because it is I think an important part of the story that hasn't been touched, but mentioned.
Anyone know if there are any other things mentioned in both games but have not yet been explored as part of the game?
