I’ve been browsing dating websites to try and meet chicks around town, and while I’ve come across some stinkers, WannaHookUp is the real deal. It was pretty straightforward: You create an account for free, check out the platform to see if it’s to your liking, and if it’s right for you, you shell out for a premium account.

As soon as I signed up, I was able to find tons of users in my corner. I’ve seen a couple of WannaHookUp reviews complaining about people not being able to find users, but I had no issues when I was traveling through the country. Maybe it was a problem for people in smaller towns? In any case, WannaHookUp felt legit to me.

I wasn’t a fan of the fact that the site requires you to pay for each message you send, but to their credit, they did give me 100 free credits so I could sample the experience. You don’t have to match with a chick just to send her a message, which I appreciate. I was able to chat with a couple of ladies near me, and I actually ended up hooking up with one of them. From those chats alone, I felt like paying for the premium was worth it.

It kinda sucks that there’s no Wanna HookUp app, but in the grand scheme of things, it was no big deal because I could just use the site on my phone’s browser. Pretty intuitive to use! The pricing was reasonable, too. I paid about 40 bucks for 1250 credits, which was the smallest package, yet enough for plenty of conversations.

The gist is that I had a great time with WannaHookUp and plan on continuing to use it. As long as you’re in a moderately large city, it’ll be pretty easy for you to find matches.
