Hello everyone on r/HookupMissouri ! Hope today's treating everyone well! Got some major changes to announce, so continue on to see what's different!

As I'm sure everyone is aware, there's been a major influx of bots lately, and due to the size of our community, we've also had a lot of low quality posts lately. These changes are being implemented to help stem the tide of bots as much as possible, and to help improve the quality of posts.

The first major change is karma and age requirements to post.

For age, its simple, your account must be at least a week old to post or comment. Simple as that. That will already lessen the amount of bots a bit.

The Karma requirement, however, helps make sure that the people posting are at least familiar with Reddit as a whole. You must have at least 15 karma to post or comment. Not much, but i dont want it to be so much that people are going to karma farm to get enough. That will get rid of more bots as well.

The next major change is about the quality of posts and comments. The quality lately hasnt been great, to say the least. There's been so many "looking for fun" posts, from bots and low effort posters, and replies of "DM" that it can be hard to differentiate who is and isn't a bot.

Firstly, you've got a few requirements to post now. You must have both a title and body in your post. Your title structure must consist of [Age][Gender4Gender][City, Missouri] some sort of title afterwards. As a note, the brackets ARE required, if they arent there, AutoMod WILL take down yhe post, so be mindful. (It may take some time to have AutoMod set up, so some may slip through)

The Title also has a 25 character minimum, to help ensure that you put more than the bare minimum in your title. As an example: [31][M4F][Columbia, MO] Is it time for Saturday Night Fun?

In the body of the post, there's a 50 character minimum, to help make sure that you share a bit more of what you're looking for. From what you're looking for exaxtly, kinks, hobbies, advertise yourself! Low effort posts aren't going to get you laid often, but too much can be a drag to read, so dont share your whole life story, just enough to peak interests.

To address it, photos will still be allowed for now, however if the karma farming with sexy pics persists, then i will disable photo posts altogether. You can always ask for photos and other ways to verify when you message said person.

Comments will still be allowed, for now, but do have a 20 character minimum to post, to give more quality chats, amd lessen said bots.
