My first thought, like many people, on seeing the additional SAM units in the Myriad Celestia was that it would be amazing if they were all playable. Given the life expectancy of the Glamoth counter-swarm, that's unlikely. It would be pretty amazing if we got multiple versions of Firefly, though, as she recovered different types of SAM units across their journeys. A Firefly for every path!

My immediate thought was that the senior samurai-looking one was Hunt, the chonky one would probably be Preservation, and the one that looks to have a shoulder-cannon might be Nihility (net-gun, freeze-ray, suppression artillery, etc) or Erudition (just a big gun). Someone also pointed out that the "shoulder-cannon" might be a folded up sniper rifle, which could still be Nihility via kneecap debuffs.

My ideal world would be one where Firefly joins the express and switches forms like TB and March, but since Firefly is a limited unit that wouldn't (fire)fly. But either recovering those characters from cryosleep or getting new Firefly versions where she wears different suits would certainly do.

What do y'all think about the new SAM units and their potential as playable characters? I don't think we can totally write off the possibility, since the livestream mentioned seeing more SAM units in the future. Could easily be only in context of this one trailer, but I'd like to think they'll do more with these character designs.
