If you talk to one of the wardens in the Fyxestroll Garden (the new zone), they give a list of 10 crimes that are supposedly "unforgivable" (I think, I don't remember the exact wording):
- Involuntary Immortalization
- Immortality Theft
- Beguilement
- Mara Ensnarement
- Phratry Murder
- Illicit Espionage
- Prison Break
- Sowing Discord
- Incitement to Riot
- Capsizing Xianzhou
The first nine make sense - they're pretty comparable to stuff we have in the real world or make sense with the mindset of the Hunt/long-lived species.
However, it really feels like there's a "funny" story behind that last one - first off, how the hell do you capsize a gigantic ship like the Xianzhou? And the fact that the rule is there in the first place suggests that it happened at some point in the history of the Xianzhou. How is everyone still alive if it got capsized like that, if it happened at all?
It's also kind of funny thinking about all of these crazy crimes that are unforgiveable and the last unforgiveable one is just tipping over a boat.
So what happened? Is there some lore in a readable somewhere that I missed?
