Last year I came to hk for 3 months working in a firm. Being a child who was raised in canada, I could not socialize with my co-workers. My cantonese is proficient enough so that I can get by when talking about actual work, but I am completly lost when they start to talk about oher things. I doesnt help that I cant read chinese either..so eating at those food courts/restuarants get really difficult.
Im looking for some tips like where ppl usually hangout after a working day. As well as special codes that are set at specific stores like 101 for house special noodles at pho places.
