As people may know, due to the tradition influenced by Imperial Examination(科挙), competitive pressure, and showing-off culture, academic record is said to have a great impact on one's mind and actual life in sinosphere(which includes chinese diaspora regions, Korea, and even Japan).

HK is thought not to be an exception but to be a good example of this disposition. However, from a point of view of a foreigner outside HK, its reality is diffcult to catch.

Therefore, let's discuss your academic career and its social effects(both "grace" and "curse" of it).
