Love my rebel but hubby wants me to upgrade

I have a 2023 Rebel 500, it is my baby. My husband wants me to move up to the 1100 DCT. He has one and likes it. I'm torn on it due to the fact I love the feel of going thru the gears myself. Does anyone in here have pros and cons on them? I've been riding for a couple years. I started on an 86 Shadow and I've been on an 83 Goldwing. I prefer how the Rebel handles and looks. Picture for what I like in the look (and yes this is my baby).
