Sheetz 88 safe?
Post Body

Prospective buyer looking at a 2006 EX AWD/MT with 256K miles. Its home will be western PA just east of Pittsburgh. Which means Sheetz. Sheetz EVERYWHERE.

They offer the 88 octane, or E15, at a discount compared to plain old 87 octane. which is tempting to the wallet, but how does it work out in practice? Have any of you given it a try? Is it safe in a high milage engine like this one? In spite of all the "safe for 2001 and later" reassurances, I'm still dubious.
