Was trying to fix my neutral and oil pressure light and now when I try to go into first gear it just shuts off
Post Body

Was trying to diagnose why my neutral and oil pressure light weren’t coming on. Not sure what the part is called for the neutral light but it’s kinda like a rubbery piece? Took that off and put it back in noticing the light would turn on and off by a certain position this part would be tightened to. And for the oil pressure switch I have power to the wire and with a test light to the wire I can light up the oil light. Assuming it’s just a bad switch? But after I put everything back together I wanted to go for a test ride and when I tried going into first it just dies. I also did take the oil pressure switch out. Not sure if that’ll matter to my problem. Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
