So I have recently moved to an area that has lots of homeless and street parking only. Within the first 2 weeks of living in this area, my car was broken into and the homeless man pulled a "dirty mike and the boys" in my car. I.e. Shitting, pissing, and probably masturbating in my car. Like the title says I have a 2014 Honda Civic LX. I have auto-locking doors and I am absolutely religious about locking my car ever since this happened. So today I went out to my car to go grab some donuts and my car was completely rummaged through. All of the contents of my trunk were on the ground and soaked in piss.

My question is how are they getting into my car? It seemed like they were able to jimmy my trunk lock and go through my trunk into my car. I am honestly looking for information on how they can do that? If my car is super easy to jimmy the trunk lock? What technology is out there that can catch them in the act so I have video of it that they can't destroy by just taking it? Any and all help is much appreciated. Also, there was nothing but fast food garbage, and papers in view in the cabin of my car and I try to keep nothing in there as to not entice these people.
