Repair gone wrong?
Post Body

Hey guys dont know if this is the best place to post this. Anyways i recently replaced the valve cover gasket on my 2005 honda civic, after the replacement i noticed a burning smell and started to see pools of oil under my car. Now my oil warning light comes on when i engage the clutch, and the burning smell is still there. Im no mechanic but i read up that it might be my rear main seal, i was wondering if someone could help me to understand whats wrong. Thank you.

Update found out that the gasket I bought was bad and had cracked, so I had no valve cover gasket holding oil in on one side. Thanks everyone for your replies :)
