[HS AP US HISTORY grade 11] Did the southern English colonies do anything good?? (16-1700) please help
Post Body

So I have been given the task by my AP US history teacher to, in an argument with other students, defend the south and try to prove it was the best colonial region. Of course, being a decent human being, there are soooo many things the south did bad that it’s pretty hard for me to find more outside the basics, it made some people wealthy and provided lots of resources for the colonies. I was wondering if any of you would happen to know any other decent things the south did worth defending?
