My teacher recently said that US Russian relations have hit a low point since the Cold War,
I was just wondering what are the factors that have caused this low point? I know the allegations on the hacking of the presidential election and the annexation of Crimea didn't help, but I was wondering if there were any other key moments that caused this dive in relations.
An additional question I have no idea where to start for this one but when were relations at its high point? Was it during George H.W. Bush's presidential term?
Thank you for any help on the subject.
