I'm looking at a case study for uni and basically have to say what the blood test results mean and what's wrong with the person. I already know it's primary hypothyroidism (shows high TSH and low T3 & T4) but one of the test given is also a low white count. The white count is at 3.3(x109/L) compared to a given normal range of 4-11.

I've tried looking up different papers and just random googling but I can't seem to find anything other than anecdotal evidence about why there would be a lower white count. Anyone able to point me in the right direction or know something I'm missing here?
