Is mold under straw around fruit plants ok?
Post Body

First time doing a lot of this, so new question. I have some fruit bushes that I put in last year. I put pine straw down. We have had a lot of rain and I went to check my plants. There's a white fuzzy mold on the ground around my bushes. I'm assuming this is ok, but I'm curious what everyone thinks.

Also, same bush, a hole formed around the original potted bush and where I put it in. I'm assuming that I just didn't get enough diet in around it. Should I pack more in?
