We do the marketing and some business development for a small custom Home builder in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado.
The last two years have been very slow. In 2022, we had eight new Customs. This year, we are down to 1. We also do major remodeling, but that market is also very slow.
What's working for you to sell or develop new custom Home prospects besides referrals? This year, we participated in the Parade of Homes with a 2.2 M home. We have a strong network in the R.E., lender, and architect fields.
We also have a system in which we contact every individual who has purchased a lot or land (Suitable for a Custom Home as far as size and area demographics are concerned) with postal letters and emails when possible within 1-3 months of the purchase. We research and send every 2 weeks. This is a long-term marketing strategy that has shown some results.
I'd love to hear what's working for you.
