So I brewed a stout yesterday and it went great, pitched my yeast at 75⁰. I kept it fermenting in my kitchen rather than my basement because it's a bit too cold (or so I thought) in my basement. This morning I check it and it was bubbling really great, but I didn't realize maybe a little too great. Later in the morning my GF asks me if it should be hissing. She sends me a video and the airlock is completely full of foam and the foam is filling the carboy to the top. So, now I asked her to just throw a piece of tin foil over it until I get home. Thoughts? Will this completely fuck up my brew?
