Carbonation drops, sweetness and no fizz.
Post Body

We pulled a couple of bombers out of a stout and kegged the rest. The keg is nice, silky and a bit dry. The bombers are really sweet. We used carbonation drops rather than priming sugar. Also, the drops created no carbonation. Both beers were still good but I just did a nice hoppy Irish Ale and did the same split and I am now worried that will be too sweet. Any ideas why this is? Any feedback would be most helpful. FYI, this was also a batch we weren't sure if the yeast caused correct fermentation. Perhaps it's just tasty barley tea?
