I am putting a kit stout down as one of my next brews and having never made a stout, I am wondering what people usually do for theirs? How long do you age them? Do you have to have a stout tap? Nitro? I am doing the two can approach with maybe 500g of the coopers brew enhancer no.3 and a.shot of creme de cacao. Laziest option really, never been a big stout fan but am thinking it cant hurt to have a keg full for winter in a few months?
How do you carb and nitro a keg? Do you just keep swapping between the two? I am considering getting a nitro setup as my wife is keen on the nitro coffees
