I am fairly new to this whole home brewing shenaigans, and have been using tap water for all of my brews. What do you guys use? Tap? Filtered? Boiled? Distilled?
Any way, what got me thinking about water was a video I watched this morning where a bloke filled a couple of containers from a street gutter that had a local spring constantly pushing fresh spring water through it!!! Shook my head a bit and thought what an idiot... but then... that idiot might be onto something? It got me thinking, I live fairly close to a lot of fresh water springs, and fresh water mountain streams... what if I used some of that water in my brews? What would i need to do to it? Camden? Boil? Hoping the brains trust can help me out a bit.
Would provably use the same source of water as these guys. http://www.mountwarningspringwater.co/
