BIAB Mash Circulation Ootions
Post Body

This is the most labour intensive and definitely the most boring part of my brew day. Anyone come up with some ways of keeping all the grain in suspension while mashing BIAB?

I tried switching to a steel mash basket instead of bag so I could MacGyver a drill with paddle attached but found all the gain eventually settles wherever the current is stagnant. Sous vide for me isn't aggressive enough to keep everything in suspension either. I do full volume mashes (~8 gallons) FWIW.

Got any innovative ideas?
