Building New Home: Installer installed Cat5e instead of Cat6. Should I be concerned?

Post Body

Hello,

My parents are building a new home up in Canada where we can get 1gbps up and down for 80USD and up to 2.5gbps up and down for 140USD.

Since they are not very tech savvy and I'm still living with them thanks to insanely high house prices, I'm in charge of the home networking and home automation side of things. The installer installed 1 Cat5e and 1 coax in every bedroom and office, 4 Cat5e and 1 coax in the family room and media room, and 6 Cat5e for security cameras.

I was expecting Cat6 not Cat5e, especially for futureproofing. I was wondering if Cat5e can do 10gbps up to 120ft?
