Can it be possible to have internet around the home with coax cables?

Post Body

We have dsl based internet currently and thinking of switching to coax based connection. We have coax connection on every room and I believe that is there for TV connection. So can we reuse that to have internet on every room and connect a LAN wire in any way to it?

What to tell to the ISP to do? As our community isn't knowledgeable about it and they have standard answer as to check with ISP. Main challenge is I cannot make any custom changes as I do not own this home.

Hope I made myself clear, thank you!
