Wired access point question
Post Body

I have a cable modem combo wifi router installed in my home. The garage is a free standing building and is located far enough away from the house that wifi strength has always been poor. So, I ran cat cable plugged into the back of the cable/router modem out to the garage and connected a wifi access point to it. Problem is that there appears to be interference (ip related) between this access point and the home wifi modem/router. Any ideas on what I can do to remedy this, and is this the best solution? Thanks!!
