I am in the process of looking for options to upgrade my current set up towards a more prosumer set up. I also work from home, so Im looking for something robust.
Internet from Xfinity 900Mbps/25Mbps
Current Setup: * House is wired for Ethernet * Amplifi HD router * TP Link TL-SG108 Switch to light up rooms * My office doubles as a Faraday cage, so I repurposed an old Netgear R7000 with DD-Wrt to serve as a switch and access point to get better wifi
I was looking at TP-Link & Ubiquiti and was wondering whether to go all in on one or mix them up. I dont have drops in the ceiling to mount their APs and the TP-Link Omada APs are too big for a table.
Are there any other options or will getting TP-Link router, switch along with Ubiquiti APs work ? Are there APs with additional LAN ports for wired devices ( Ill need them in my office )
Would something like AIMesh from Asus be a good option too ?
