Networking got me like grr.
Post Body

For over 3 months now I've been trying to deploy a website with TLS.

I've got code-server running on a port, nginx as a reverse proxy, domain all set up, NAT set up and had it all rolling for 35 minutes.

Accessable and everything. It was beautiful.

I then went to add a WordPress site and done goofed. Quit working stat. Looked for port clashes, couldn't find it. Looked for misconfigured conf files. Couldnt find it.

imDone.jpeg and reinstall Ubuntu server 20.04.

Said I'd try docker.... Holy crap that was a wasted 5 hours.

imDonev2.jpeg and reinstalled Ubuntu server 20.04

Installed and configured code-server, installed nginx and configured. Doesn't work. confused.jpeg

Remove nginx and try caddy. Try first at serverip:80, success. Try to configure to TLS errors errors errors...

defeated.jpeg I'm going to sleep and in the AM will reinstall Ubuntu Server 20.04......

Why's it gotta be so hard y'all? Why can't anything be a standard process. I read the how to install but then for it to work I have to turn up the DNS to 11 then dial back the baud rate then finally adjust the gain on the 10kHz band. Then when the wind blows from the south and chicken sits on my roof does it all work.

Can anyone else share a time that they tried to network and couldn't get it? Where did you go for resources to help? Was it ever resolved?
