Is there a way to run two modems via different coaxial cable ports in the home?
Post Body

Sorry if this is a noob question but I am currently living in an older apartment where the wifi doesnt reach into my room due to thick walls. There isnt an option for me to connect to ethernet and we actually have a secondary router / modem lying around. We currently have a wifi extender but with its "extra range" I can only watch twitch videos at 480p if I am lucky (snore). I was wondering if it would be possible to leverage the coax connection to get 5g gig speed internet as we get in our living room. And if not will I be forced to get a mesh system? I also was attempting to hook up our arris surfboard (modem / router combo) to the external linksys router with little luck earlier today. Would I need a moca splitter? Little bit lost here and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
