Is it possible to get a separate router that connects through the main router via ethernet and have a new WIFI name and password?

I live in a house share and recently bought a Google Neat Audio, and to annoy me my house mates connect to it to play music, pause my music and lower the volume as it is connected through the same network. Is there a way for me to buy a router that can connect through my ethernet port in my room but have a new name and password so I can connect it through there and no one else has access to it?
