Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of help with improving my wifi speeds. As mentioned in the title, I have fiber optic internet via ATT. After experiencing terrible coverage using the ATT extender (granted, it's a 2200sqft house with a wifi hostile layout), I have in ny purchasing, an ASUS ZenWiFi AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (2 pack) expecting a drastic improvement (at least 500mbps up/down).
Although the connectivity is steady throughout the house, the speed improvement is marginal.
For example, my garage, which was previously a dead zone, went from 8/3mbps (down/up) on the ATT extender to 15/5mbps on the mesh network.
Any tips on what's wrong? Or was I mislead by either ATT, my research, and/or videos on youtube? Thanks!
