Again, I'm trying to understand the marketing terms, nomenclature, and actualities of this. This is a rabbit hole I didn't think was so deep and the addition of AX (AX==Wi-Fi 6, correct?), it makes this whole hole deeper and wider.
Does Wi-Fi 6E on refer to devices AX enabled while Wi-Fi 6 refer to the standard? I just learned my iPad and our iPhones are Wi-Fi 6 enabled. Does that mean they are 6E devices?
Wi-Fi 6 uses a different frequency allocation, correct? 'Unlicensed' wifi runs at 2.4ghz, 5ghz, and 6ghz(Wi-Fi 6)?
Also, if 6 and 6E are two different beasts, can a 6 router be turned into a 6E router with a firmgrade update? Yeah - I know that's a question that depends on hardware but I'm curious.
