Hi guys, I'm running a TP-Link TL-WR841N router, unfortunately I have more ethernet devices then a router can take. So I've decided to purchase a TP-Link TL-SG105 V4 5 port gigabit switch and it looked like all is good since today..
I came back come to notice lack of ethernet connection on my pc, swapped cables and same thing.
I've tried Youtube on TV, lack of internet connection. Restarted few times modem and still same problem but the best thing is, Wifi is working totally fine, internet etc its just ethernet.
I've unplugged the switch, restart the router, and boom ethernet connection is back on pc. Plugged the switch back, all working good again but only for like 10/15 mins. Suddenly router dropped internet connection over all ethernet devices.
I kind of need that switch to run internet on tv and my tv sat box. Anyone might have an any idea why the router is freaking out with ethernet when the switch is plugged in?
