Docsis 3.0 or 3.1 for 400mbps Internet

I current have the TC-7610 modem . I upgraded my Xfinity internet from 200mbps to 400mbps.
I noticed that while I was getting close to the advertised upload speed, the download was capping at around 274. I noticed on the TC-7610 website that the modem is End of Life and caps the speed at 343mbps.
I suspect I need a modem with more channel bonding support to get close to 400mbps. Should I get a Docsis 3.0 or 3.1 modem ?
