Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to run Ethernet cabling through my home? I have a 2 story house with a basement. My router and modem are on the second floor bedroom. The wifi does not reach the entire house. Right now I just have an Apple AirPort Extreme in the bedroom providing 2.4 and 5ghz. I also have two Apple express’s boosting the network throughout the house, but sadly this way is not the greatest. There is still lots of signal and strength lost this way. My goal is get a new router and switch, and run Ethernet cables down to the main floor and second floor. My issue is, how the cables will go through the floor boards and studs. My home is completely finished so there is no exposed walls or floors. Does anyone have any tips or instructions on what the best way the achieve this goal is? Many thanks!
