Hi everyone, I currently have an edgerouter configured with an ap lite within my house, and everything is running nicely except for the fact that we need more ports for the router. Normally I know this would simply require a switch, but with my past experience with the edgerouter and setting it up, some things arent always as simple as they seem haha. Anyways what I am wondering is would a switch be able to add more ports and still allow the router/AP to act properly? What switch would be best and how do I go about setting it up for the router? I appreciate the time to read and reply in advance, thanks for your time!
