Beating Netflix
Post Body

So I've moved across the country from my mother and we used to share a Netflix account.

As you all know, Netflix recently turned evil and has made password sharing incredibly difficult!

I would like to use a service like NordVPN Meshnet to put all the family media centers across the country on essentially the same LAN.

While I'm sure it would be perfectly convenient to go through NordVPN, I'd really rather host my own solution on a cloud server.

Does anybody know of any open source software that would do essentially the same thing as NordVPN meshnet?

I'm also interested in reducing my relkiance on streaming srvices. I don't like how our culture can just be taken away because some lawers decided thair company wanted the rights to a film. I miss the days of just being able to pull a DVD off the shelf and watch an old favorite.

I would like to start hosting DVD/Blu-Ray rips on my own family media server to act in the same capacity as a DVD shelf. Does anybody have any input in that regard aswell?

Thank you!
