I have a network in a small office that has several Netgear switches coming off of the primary modem in our warehouse. Various devices are connected to these switches all around the building. Some devices are desktop computers, some are VOIP phones, and some are wi-fi routers, and I also have one Lorex camera system.
The problem that I'm having is that when some devices are connected to the network they get a 10.10.x.x ip address assigned via DHCP and then they do not have IPv4 connectivity. All of the other devices that are connected are assigned a 10.1.10.x IP address and work fine. I'm just not sure why certain devices pick up that 10.10.x.x IP.
I have tried various troubleshooting. Most recently I connected a new desktop to a switch that has other computers connected to it and working fine (with 10.1.10.x IP address) but the new computer picks up a 10.10.x.x address and has connectivity problems. I disconnected from the switch and ran a long cable to another switch - same problem. I connected a longer cable directly to the modem in the warehouse. Same problem.
Any help or insight here is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
