Hi.
I've moved in to an apartment where fibre is provided. To be clear it's a unique fibre line to each unit, with a (bespoke or white-label I think) device mounted to the wall, that provides a WiFi network to my unit. I also had the option to get my own ISP as long as they are on the same cabling network, so pretty sure it's a unique line. There is an ethernet port on it, and the providers have confirmed it's unlocked and I can run a netowkring device to it.
I'm happy with the existing WiFi for wireless, but I also want to connect a few devices wired (PC, TV, console, maybe laptop dock). Every device is also in the same room, longest cable I'd need to run is about 10m.
I don't need it to provide another WiFi network, just wire up to the current fibre/router box and provide 4 ports. What kind of device should I buy to allow me to connect multiple devices by ethernet, preferably without paying extra for WiFi capabilities. And any specific product you'd recommend?
Appreciate any advice.
