Figured this would be an appropriate sub to ask.

My router is in the living room area. Cables are ran through the attic and down to the living room area hidden from plain view. I would like to run an Ethernet cable from the living room to my room, but the attic doesn’t extend to my bedroom. They would need to access from the roof down to my bedroom since I don’t see a way of running it around from outside the house into the bedroom.

My question being, would it best to call my internet provider for assistance on installation or to call a certified independent electrician? I’m NOT looking for the most cost effective option, I just want to make sure I hire the appropriate person for the job.
