I’ve recently learned how to make my own cables from spool and the process has been incredibly frustrating. Im losing my mind trying to line up all 8 lanes and hope they’re all touching the metal connections. I’ve made numerous cables that pass on my tester but when I plug them into my switch or laptop it fails.
Is there any sort of machine that you can feed spool and connectors and it makes the connection for you? I got so excited to start my home networking only to fail at making Ethernet cables. I’ve got some to work but it’s taking me a VERY long time and I’m losing my patience. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated
