Hey all!

I recently acquired myself a Nissan GQ Patrol. Thrown a bed in the back with custom drawers, 200ah deep cycle battery, 3000w inverter, and a Netgear MR1100.

Now. I've done some magic with the MR1100, allowing me to use any sim, doesn't have to be "mobile router specific". If you know you know. If you don't you don't.

Now. I wish to throw a raspberry pi or heck, even a mini pc in it for on the go Plex when reception is non existent.

I want to set it up so that I can, say for example, tag a bunch of movies/shows I want on the go and "push" them to my car via the cellular network.

The MR1100 doesn't support any sort of Dyn DNS settings. I have a couple of options for a dyn DNS updated but I'd like some opinions.

I have a NodeMCU ESP8266 laying around, obviously the mini pc but I also use an android tablet for navigation which is pretty much on 24/7.

How would you set it up? Why? I'm all ears
