HostAPD running on Ubuntu Server - 5GHz WiFi - Help
Post Body

Currently testing out an older model Intel NUC with a custom Atheros AR5B22 card - it looks like it supports 5Ghz no problem in Windows etc. but can't get the config just right, with faster speeds than 5Mbps transfer.....

Running Ubuntu Server 22.04 I'm sure with the latest HostAPD installed.

Any experts on here or shall I post this question on another more appropriate software forum ?

Appreciate all the help here guys !

Project - small portable PC/Router that around 6 people can connect to wirelessly - NVMe/SSD on the box has SQL database on it which users connect to with custom software and put data into, all at the same time. We used to use WD My Passport Wireless SSDs but they don't make them anymore. We found a multitude of routers that had MicroSD slots and their firmware/software run 5GHz WiFi out of the box but the cards were getting corrupted within a day of use....
