Need advice on repairing my wall
Post Body

Hello, I just recently(about 1 month) started to look around my mom’s house to do repairs in things needing to be fixed. I noticed in my room the paint started to bubble up and peel off so as directed I broke open the wall because I was told moisture had got behind the wall which causes that.

The wall is plaster and has lathe and wanted to know if I didn’t want to remove the entire all could I just replace the lathes that are damaged and re plaster the wall or should I tear it all down and put up dry wall.
