Retiling a shower
Post Body

So I'm redoing the floor of a basement shower. The subfloor is my slab. I've pulled up all the old Riverstone (previous flooring, ground out the old thinset, and am putting down new tiles. For this, do I need to remove the old Waterproofing membrane, or can I thinset the new one in directly on top of the old one?

TIA!
