Connecting to city water or keep on with the well?
Post Body

So my house at some point was all on a pitless well and the interior was converted to city water with the sprinklers and outside faucets still on the well. The yard was flooded and I dug to find a rotted fitting, the whole thing is galvanized and the fitting snapped off, I’m over my head. Replacing the pitless adapter requires the well coming out and a place estimated around $900 to replace. Should I just connect my sprinklers to my city water and be done with this? Or keep the well, it’s free water? But I pay for the electricity for the well…advise?
